Recommend a grant from your Donor-Advised Fund (DAF)
A donor-advised fund (DAF) provides donors with a centralized charitable giving vehicle. Through a donor-advised fund, you can make a charitable contribution each year and receive an immediate tax deduction. Many common donor-advised funds are Schwab Charitable, Fidelity Charitable, Vanguard Charitable, and National Philanthropic Trust, for example.
Donate through Corporate/Employer Matching Gift Program
Many companies and employers have matching-gift programs, doubling (or in some cases even tripling) donations their employees make to a favorite charity. Employers may even donate funds to support employee volunteer hours! SafeArt is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and is eligible to receive matching gift contributions.
Consider a Bequest
Bequests are gifts that are made as part of a will or trust. They can be easy and satisfying gifts to make as they cost nothing now but can make an enormous impact in the future. SafeArt welcomes bequests of many types and all sizes. A bequest can recognize a loved one or an influential artist, benefit a specific activity or program, or serve as a general and important investment in the future and wellbeing of the community.
